For about 40 years, Kerry Borgne has decorated his home for the holidays - the past 30 years have been at their current residence at 1948 Washington St, Birmingham, Michigan. Kerry made Snoopy characters himself along with a friend and Jan's sister. Jan Borgne, Kerry's wife, said they were out a good part of the morning after the big winter storm this week shoveling the snow off all the decorations.
Over the years (and out in the elements), she said the decorations are starting to get fragile and it takes a lot of climbing in the cold weather to put them all up--but the neighbors have come to count and will usually update them on the amount of traffic that drives by to enjoy. It takes Kerry a couple of months to get everything in place. He synchronizes the music through a "gadget" he hooks up to a FM station that operates within one block of their home. You can view the holiday light show until New Years from dusk to about 10PM - longer on Christmas Eve.

Morning Cathy,
Not a bad video and I agree with Cheryl Collins, very cool. I'm not a sound guy buy any means but I'd love to know how someone synchronizes house lights / Christmas lights with music / radio. Reminds me of a video I seen a year or so but the light show was much more coordinated. Take a look when you got three minutes or so:

Thank you for coming back to my post and seeing that I asked you to paste the link to this video. I usually send a direct e-mail through AR but ran short on time yesterday. I don't think many people on AR pay attention to additional comments left on a post that isn't their own.
Anyways, Christmas breakfast with the in-laws this morning. Have a great - what's left of the - weekend!
Sincerely,
John F. Jones III

That is so neat. My kids loved Charlie Brown and Lucy!
Very cool & guess I'll consider getting video equipment someday ...
Tina: I avoided it for a long time - now I think it is very essential and plan to expand my use of it.
